Our journey began in a rather modern way—on a dating website. Our first date, however, wasn’t exactly the stuff of fairytales (we each have our own version of our first date). After that, we went our separate ways (aka Corie ghosted Marty), thinking our paths wouldn’t cross again. But fate had other plans.

Eighteen months later and in the midst of COVID, we reconnected and decided to give it another chance (as hindsight always has its benefits), set off on a second date - a short hike at Patapsco State Park near Catonsville. What was meant to be a brief walk turned into a 9-mile adventure (aka Marty got lost) full of laughter, stories, and the unmistakable feeling that this time, something was different.

Since that day, we have shared countless adventures, from playing in the snowy mountains to floating down peaceful rivers. Every new experience has brought us closer together, and now we are ready for our biggest adventure yet—marriage!
